Tri Flow Kitchen Tap Production Process

Tri Flow Kitchen Tap production process consists of four major parts: one is casting, the other is machining, the third is surface treatment, and the fourth is assembly.

(1) Body casting(the process is as follows):

Product design - Mould design and manufacturing - Mould tidy up - Mix sand - The copper water melting - Gravity casting - Casting to fall the sand tidy up - Water mouth excising - Casting pill dearing up - Casting.

(2) Machining:

After the copper casting is annealed, various machining operations are performed on the workpiece by using CNC machine tools, such as machine tools, milling, drilling, grinding, boring, and the like, so that the workpiece can achieve the desired dimensional accuracy, shape, position accuracy, and pattern requirements. After machining, the product is polished to remove burrs, rough surfaces and pits on the surface, so that the surface of the product is free of obvious trachoma and porosity defects. After the polishing is finished, the polishing process is performed. The high-speed rotation of the hemp (cloth) wheel can be used to grind the surface of the workpiece to make it smooth and bright. The brightness and finish of the product are increased, and the lines of the surface are smoother and smoother.

(3) Surface Treatment:

After the casting is polished, the surface treatment of the casting is performed. The surface treatment process mainly includes vacuum ions PVD(physical vapor deposition), ORB(Oil rubber bronze), plating and so on. The most widely used Tri Flow Kitchen Tap  should be electroplating chromium. Electroplating can enhance the corrosion resistance of the faucet, enhance the hardness, prevent abrasion, and increase the appearance of the surface. The most common electroplating is six-price plating, and now three-price electroplating is rising. Electroplating can be divided into three layers. The first layer is copper-plated copper, nickel-plated and chromium-plated. The common plating thickness of faucets is 8-12 microns.

The quality of the plating surface treatment can be judged by the 24-hour acetate spray test, and the coating thickness gauge can be used to identify the thickness of each metal coating. Generally speaking, the thickness of the coating is up to standard, and the salt spray test can pass. Electroplating is a process of pollution and energy consumption. Directly connected to the drinking water faucet, after the electroplating, lead washing should be performed to remove lead from the surface of the faucet that directly provides drinking water. After secondary washing, chemical degreasing, alkaline lead removal and acid lead removal process, the product meets the US NSF61 regulations, lead content below 8%, making the product more conducive to human health。

(4) Zero component processing. The zero fittings used for the  Tri Flow Kitchen Tap , such as the shaft parts and nut screws, need to be changed into copper parts after forging with copper rods, and then the threads are processed by mechanical technicians according to the four-and-six-point specifications according to needs.

(5) Assembly. After the casting of the faucet plating is inspected, it can enter the assembly process. Assembling is the process of linking the finished faucet parts in a certain sequence and technology to become a complete set of faucet products and to reliably realize the function of product design. The assembly is at the final stage necessary for the manufacture of the product. The quality of the product (from product design, part casting to product assembly) is finally guaranteed and verified through assembly. The test of water test and pressure test shall be carried out in the assembly, and the test shall be carried out with a water pressure of 1.6 +/- 0.05Mpa for 60 +/- 5 seconds to ensure that there is no leakage on the sealing surfaces. After passing the test, it shall be transferred to the turn-line wiring pressure cap. Handle, hot and cold water mark, and finally attached accessories, wipe, packaging and packing

(6) Product testing

After the finished faucet product is put into storage, the finished product inspector conducts a re-sampling inspection. The inspection items include requirements for the smoothness of the surface of the casting, the surface of the thread, the appearance quality, no looseness in the assembled position, complete marks, qualified sealing of the valve core, and sealing performance test of the faucet. Qualified and so on. After the product passes the inspection, it can be shipped.
